From the album 2 Stupid 2 Lip Sink Chronicles
"On a Sunday", Volume 4 of the "2 Stupid 2 Lip Sink Chronicles," is a song I wrote about meeting Melinda. We met at the Savage Mill in, Maryland. It was a rainy day with spring in full bloom and the promise of new beginnings for us both. I wrote the song many years afterwards and it was first recorded and released on my latest CD "Pardon My Confusion, Can You Direct Me to the Other Side Of Nowhere?" This song is a lot of fun to sing--I love the harmonies the band performs on it! I never thought we would capture the essence of the original recording but life is full of surprises! And yes, "We still sing love songs together on a Sunday afternoon.
